Terms and Conditions

1. Application and Acceptance of Terms

1.1 “Buyer” refers to any natural or legal person who purchases one or more product(s) via the webshop, as well as any visitor of the webshop.
1.2 These terms and conditions of sale apply to all sales offered and concluded via the webshop www.puurlicht.be or any other agreements made through the webshop.
1.3 These terms apply exclusively, excluding all other terms, in particular those applying to in-store sales or rentals by the seller.
1.4 By placing an order via the webshop, the buyer acknowledges having read these terms and conditions of sale and accepts them.
1.5 If one or more articles of these terms are declared invalid by a court ruling, the remaining provisions of these terms and conditions shall remain fully in force.

2. Formation of the Agreement

2.1 A sales agreement between the seller and the buyer is only concluded after the order of the (potential) buyer is explicitly accepted by the seller, who informs the buyer by confirmation email.
2.2 The receipt of the confirmation by the buyer is the moment the agreement is concluded.
2.3 The seller reserves the right not to accept the order or, if necessary, to cancel the agreement without any compensation to the buyer, but with a refund of any amounts paid. In particular, this applies if previous issues arose with the buyer or their family members (in case of natural persons), or if problems occurred at the delivery address, or if there are outstanding invoices.

3. Prices

3.1 Product prices are indicated in euros, including all taxes, except for shipping costs.
3.2 The seller reserves the right to modify prices at any time; however, products are invoiced based on the rates applicable at the time the order is accepted.
3.3 The seller cannot be held liable for (typographical) errors in the offers, which the buyer should reasonably recognize as errors.
3.4 The payable price is the one indicated in the confirmation.
3.5 The seller reserves the right to modify the price after the conclusion of the agreement, e.g., due to changes in shipping costs, new taxes, or typographical errors.
3.6 If the price is increased, the buyer has the right to cancel the agreement at no cost and without the seller being liable for compensation.
3.7 Products remain the property of the seller until full and final payment is received.

4. Payment

4.1 For orders via the webshop, the following payment methods are available:

  • Credit Card: Visa, Mastercard, PayPal

  • Online Banking

  • Bank Transfer

IBAN: BE41 7360 2223 6710
BIC (SWIFT): KREDBEBB

When using the above payment methods, the buyer must also comply with the conditions of the relevant payment provider. The seller is not a party to the relationship between the buyer and the payment provider.
4.2 The seller commits to ensuring the security of the webshop to the best of their ability, but cannot be held liable for any damages arising from use of the webshop, including misuse by third parties.
4.3 The seller complies with the rules allowing refunds to consumers according to the Belgian Law of 14 July 1991 on commercial practices and consumer protection.
4.4 If a payment term was agreed, in any case 30 days after delivery, the buyer automatically owes late payment interest of 1% per month and a compensation of 10%, with a minimum of €50.00.

5. Delivery

5.1 Products are sent to the shipping address provided at the time of order (home address or other).
5.2 The seller will make every effort to deliver products as soon as possible; however, delivery times indicated on the webshop are indicative only.
5.3 If the goods are not delivered within 30 days, an additional period can be agreed upon. If no additional period is set, the agreement is automatically cancelled and the seller will refund any payments within 30 days.
5.4 The management commits to processing all orders correctly and as quickly as possible.
5.5 If a product is out of stock for more than 21 days, the buyer can request a refund.
5.6 Products are shipped via standard postal services. Puurlicht is not liable for delays caused by postal services or carriers, loss of products, or strikes. The buyer assumes the transport risk.

6. Right of Withdrawal

6.1 The right of withdrawal applies only to purchases via the webshop by natural persons or legal entities acquiring products exclusively for non-professional purposes.
6.2 Under the Belgian Law of 15 May 2010 on commercial practices and consumer protection, the consumer may notify the seller within 14 calendar days after receipt of the product that they withdraw from the sale.
6.3 Goods must be returned within the same period at the buyer's expense, in original, undamaged packaging, with a copy of the invoice/delivery note to:

VAT 0843 029077 HR Oudenaarde
6.4 Incomplete, damaged, used, or soiled goods will not be accepted.
6.5 The seller will refund the paid amounts within 30 days after receiving the return, excluding direct delivery costs.

7. Privacy

7.1 Personal data is stored by the seller in the buyer’s account to allow correct processing of transactions. Stored data will make future transactions faster.
7.2 The seller complies with the Belgian Law of 8 December 1992 on processing personal data, amended by the law of 11 December 1998, and considers the European Directive of 24 October 1995.
